Toni Lynn Ward, 29, of McCall, died on April 22, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial service was held on April 23, 2016.
Toni was born on February 4, 1987 in Boise, Idaho to Douglas Richard Ward and Nancy Ann Ward (Howard). She attended local schools and graduated from Centennial High School in 2005. She then attended North Idaho College.
She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts and a huge part of Camp Alice Pittenger in McCall, Idaho, as a counselor and cook for many years. Her camp name and as she was known by many was "Spirit". She loved the outdoors, loved camp, loved to travel and loved to spend time with family and friends. Her heart, humor, love, and giving nature will be missed.
She was employed at the University of Idaho College of Natural Resources, McCall Outdoor Science School.
Toni was preceded in death by Barbara Ann Ward, of Boise, and Edward Henry Howard, of Reno.
She is survived by her parents, Douglas R. and Nancy A. Ward (Boise); sisters, Kristine Elyse Ward and Samantha Janell Ward (Boise); grandparents, Frank Emmett Ward (Boise), and Mary Nell Mason, (St. Maries, ID); aunts/uncles, Mary Byrne (Post Falls, ID), Martha Heidenreich (Ritzville, WA), David Howard (Naples, FL), Shari Baker (North Las Vegas, NV), Suzy Ashmead (Boise), Richard Ward (Boise), Scot Ward (Boise), and Linda Goodman (Kuna), and a very special niece, Marley Johnston.
