Wallace D. Gallup, 72, died Thursday at Council Bluffs, Iowa after suffering a stroke. He had moved there about 20 years ago from Norfolk. He was born April 26, 1857 at Summit, New York. He had married Miss Nellie Dingman of Norfolk who preceded him in death. He was survived by 2 sons: Wallace Jr., 18 and Bedent age 15. A sister Mrs. B. J. Sornberger also survives. [ In a later article it was unclear as part of the article was in the seam of the paper and was not at all readable. There it appeared to be either 2 or 3 sons: Richard, Wallace and Bed of Council Bluffs, Iowa were survivors along with 2 brothers: _____coe and Bert and 1 sister ______ J. Cornell all of Silagerland, ___ Y. ]
