She is preceded in death by her father, Reverend George Andrews Owens; sister, Cecila Murray; paternal grandparents, Luther and Cora Owens; and maternal grandparents, Julius and Ethel Rymer.
Mrs. Green enjoyed traveling, working in her flower garden, sewing, cooking and was employed for 26 years, the time it opened, at Dr. Scholls. However, most importantly, she will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00pm from Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
