Kenneth Gates began his journey to the Lord on Thursday, April 21st, 2016. He died in Tampa Fla. where he was serving as a Navy Chief Petty Officer in the United States Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base.

He was born September 28th,1983 in Landstuhl Germany. He attended D' Iberville Elementary, Ocean Springs Jr High and graduated from Collins Hill High School in Lawrenceville, Ga. He also Attended Perimeter Junior College in Georgia prior to joining the United States Navy in July,2005. Kenneth is survived by his 7 year old son, Sean Gates. His Parents Joseph and Allison Gates of Biloxi, His Twin brother Michael Gates, Older Brother Christopher Gates and sister Lena Gates and Janelle Thomas. His couisins Cherrie Ann and Jelani Diaz, John Gates Jr, David and Jamie Gates, Jasmine and Vanessa. He will also be missed by his Grandmother Romalda Bryant, Aunts Cherrie Anne Diaz, Lemmon, Margaret, Lenora and Gloria Gates. His Uncles Andy Williams and James Gates Jr, Including Nieces Erica and Christie Gates, Naomi and Ava Gates.

Visitation will be Friday, April, 29, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Keesler Triangle Chapel located at Keesler AFB, in Biloxi. Kenneth Gates' final resting place will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2016 at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
