Mr. Reed grew up in West Point in Cullman County but had lived in this area for the past 23 years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Russellville. He was employed as a social worker with Florence Nursing and Rehab and was also employed at the Times Daily.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Heaps Reed; children, Emma Grace and Drew Caroline Reed; parents, Phillip and Barbara Reed, Sumiton and Carrie Reed, Huntsville; brothers, Mitch (Braley), Madison, MS, Jeff (Becky), Meridianville, AL, and Brian (Maria), McCalla, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Chalmers and Minnie McManus and Hillary and Ila Reed.
