Born July 8, 1930 in Scott County, IN, she was the daughter of Gilbert S. Amos and Minnie (Huckleberry) Amos who are both deceased.

She was a former member of Ida Rebekah Lodge in Austin and was of Christian faith.

On December 23, 1972 in Scott County, IN, she married Bruno R. Jaramillo who survives in Austin, IN.
