McMinnville, TN resident and Smyrna, TN native Brian Patrick Blaylock, age 46, was born December 26, 1969 and died suddenly April 13, 2016 at his residence.

An employee of Yorozu, a graduate of Motlow Community College, and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, he was the son of Jo Ann Lowery Blaylock of Smithville, TN and the late William Ferrell "Bill" Blaylock. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandmothers, Carmyne Lowery and Edna Blaylock; grandfather, Earl Blaylock; and uncles, Sherman Lowery and Ronnie Blaylock.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Patty Blaylock of Antioch, TN; aunts, Betty Hunter, Jimi Wayne Blanton and Era Jean Hancock; and several cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 in High's Chapel with Vincent Baker, Wilson Williams and Bro. Royce Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
