Sherry Boyle, 80, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was born April 24, 1935, in Akron, Ohio, and was a Las Vegas resident since 1962. She was a loving mother to her two sons, David and Craig. Sherry was a member of the Aladdin Hotel's gaming department for over 20 years. She loved animals and was an avid animal rights supporter. Sherry loved the arts, music and literature. She enjoyed interior decorating and design. She loved to listen to the "Dodgers" on the radio so she could hear Vin Scully describe the action. Sherry loved the "Runnin Rebels" and going to the Convention Center and Thomas & Mack. She attended St. Viator Catholic Church every Sunday at noon. She will be remembered as a compassionate, caring friend and co-worker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reva and Felix; stepfather, Nat; and her grandmother, Sophia Bryant "O mom)." She is survived by her sons, David Boyle and Craig Boyle. There will be a gathering of Sherry's friends and family on her birthday at noon Sunday, April 24, at St. Viator's Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. We will be attending Mass on Sherry's behalf. Following Mass, Visitation will be at 2 p.m., at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., before a private service for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sherry's name to the Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, P.O. Box 567, Kanab, UT 84741.
