Katherine Williamson, R.N., 83, of Morris Plains, N.J. and formerly of Greenfield Twp., died Saturday at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J. She was the wife of Robert T. Williamson. Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Fred and Marie Urda Costello, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Carbondale. She was a graduate of Fell Twp. High School and Kings County Hospital School of Nursing, Brooklyn, N.Y. Before her retirement, she was employed at the former Carbondale General Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the former Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was also a member of the Carbondale News Club.Also surviving are a daughter, Bonnie M. Pappacena and husband, Michael, Randolph, N.J.; a sister, Helen Lyman and her husband, Robert, Crystal Lake; and two grandchildren, Jeremy and Marisa Pappacena, Randolph. The funeral will be Saturday with services at 10 a.m. by Pastor Wayne Wolfe in the First Presbyterian Church, 76 Salem Ave., Carbondale. Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.
