She is survived by three daughters, two sons, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and three sisters. A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Alabama, she was born on October 16, 1928, the daughter of Benjamin Allen and Lula Jane (Duke) Hester. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Thomas Stewart; four brothers; and one sister. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. April 28, 2016 at Benefield Funeral Chapel Wedowee.
