Edna Cox, age 93 of Camden, went to be with the Lord at her daughter’s residence on Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born in Berea, KY on January 18, 1923 to Walter and Myrtle (Powell) Abrams. She attended Hamilton Church of God. On July 13, 1940 she married Daniel M. Cox, and were married for 70 years until the time of his passing in 2010.
She is survived by her children, Jack (Lucille) Cox and Barbara (Bernell) Bishop, her grandchildren, Angela, Tara (Shawn), Brenda (Scott), Vance (Heather), Clint (Brandy), Rebecca, Justin (Summer), Jackie (Jim), 20 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and her sister, Ada Perry. She was preceded in death by her children, Danny Cox and Janet Sue Copenhaver, two grandchildren, her husband, parents, and four siblings.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1PM with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery
