Mr. Arnold Allen Clark, age 90, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Clark was born April 27, 1925, in Jasper, GA, son of the late James Monroe Clark and Julie Belle Richards Clark. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the 80th Infantry during World War II where he earned the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Riegel Textiles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Clark; and a son, Gary Allen Clark.

Mr. Clark is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Debbie Clark; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and John Knox; grandchildren, Jessica and Bennett Walker, Stacey Clark, Amanda and Ben Sellers, Leslie and Major Daniel Brady; great-grandchildren, Samuel Knox Sellers and Rosalyn Rachel Brady.

Funeral services for Mr. Clark will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 28, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Roach officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ben Sellers, Stacey Clark, John Knox, Ken Clark, Melvin Plunkett, and Buddy Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be the Oakview Staff - F Hall, Riverwood Senior Living Staff, and the Staff and Friends at Jim's Restaurant.

Mr. Clark will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or to your charity of choice.
