Steven M. Reilly, 68, entered into eternal rest on April 24, 2016, in his home. Steven was born in Derby on October 2, 1947, beloved son of Dorothy Bulmer Reilly of Ansonia and the late Raymond Reilly. He grew up in Shelton and was a graduate of Shelton High School, Class of 1965. After High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Udorn, Thailand. He was employed as a computer technician at Ansonia Copper & Brass until his retirement. Steve was active in many veterans' organizations. Several times during the year, he would purchase flags and replace the ones that had become broken and worn on the graves of veteran's in the local cemeteries. Visiting will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 11:00 AM, a funeral service in celebration of Steve's life will take place with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Inurnment with U.S. Air Force honors will immediately follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shelton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to AMVETS, 4647 Forbes Blvd., Lanham, Maryland 20706-4380.
