Dennis L. Manning, age 61, of Modena, NY, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla. Dennis was born October 31, 1954 in Yonkers, NY, the son of Sally A. Manning Nichols of Rosendale, NY.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to car shows and building classic cars and also liked camping and fishing. He was employed by Quality Bus Service in Newburgh, NY.
Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter: Melissa Sokota and her husband, Michael, of Newburgh, NY and one son; Dennis L. Manning, Jr. of Wallkill, NY. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Mareno "Muzzy" DeAngeli.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 10:00am-11:30am at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately after at New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
