Eva Myrle Parish, age 80, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., passed away Oct. 11, 2006, in Florala, Ala.

She was born on June 15, 1926, in Samson, Ala., to Thomas and Mattie Spann Beck. Mrs. Parish lived most of her life in Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Darlington Baptist Church. She loved playing the piano and singing. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Mrs. Parish was predeceased by her father and mother; her husband, Robert Wyatt Parish; one grandson, Shane Miller; and two brothers, Thomas Beck Jr. and Walter Beck.

Mrs. Parish is survived by her daughter, Francine Miller and husband Ralph of Darlington, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Gladys Carleton of Thomasville, Ala.; and grandsons, Adam and Nickolas Miller.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Ave., DeFuniak Springs.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with the Revs. Frank McIntosh and Dan Mickle officiating.

Floral arrangements are being accepted.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers are James Graham, Wayne Smith, Willard Beck, Flynn Pert, Earl Chancey and Jack Thomasson.

Burial will follow in Darlington Baptist Church Cemetery.
