Kristin Laramie Harris, 38, of Huntley peacefully passed, July 31, 2015, at her home with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 6821 Main street, Union, IL. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to McHenry County Animal Control and Adoption Center, 100 Virginia St., Crystal Lake, IL.
Kristin was born February 16, 1977, the daughter of Michael and Jean (Janek) Laramie.
She worked for Huntley Veterinary Hospital as a Vet tech, for 16 years.
She married Todd Harris on February 18, 2015, in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic.
Kristin loved shopping, wine and chocolate. She had a passion for animals, especially horses. Kristin loved life and her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Harris; her sons, Lucas and Mason; by her parents, Mike and Jean Laramie; her grandma, Dolores Janke; grandpa, Sig Helland (Mary Ann); and by her brothers, Michael J. Laramie, James (Cari) Laramie; and by her nieces and nephews, Jaden, Jaci, Jami, Michael and Madison. She is also survived by her Godparents, Hawk Helland and Susan Quay and by her Aunt Nanci Fielitz (Bob) and families.
