Clarice Jean Pettit, 78, of Duck, entered into rest Friday, April 22, 2016.

Born May 29, 1937 in Ira, she was the daughter of the late William Scott and Ora Legg. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Noble Pettit; brothers, Denver, Neal, Elmer, Lawrence and Franklin; and sisters, Bessie Braley and Grace Gratz.

Clarice is survived by her sons, Bruce, Darrell and Todd Pettit; daughters, Deborah Oldham and Cheryl Wert; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Stanley and Norman Legg; sisters, Eleanor Duffield and Ruth Hardway; and two special people in her life, Barb and Susan.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial will be in Legg Cemetery, Widen Ridge.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
