Eleanor was born in 1876 to parents Gustave A. Leveque (1845-1923) and Josephine Maria Dober (1847-1906). She had six siblings – Albert G.H. Leveque (1870-1954), Mary "Mamie" Leveque (1872-1893), Anna Victoria Leveque-Laubenheimer-Sylvia (1874-1961), Emily Louise Leveque-Qualls (1878-1965), Josephine Leveque (1880-1881), and Blanche C. Leveque-Silva (1882-1905). In 1894 Eleanor married Joseph Lewis Dutra in San Francisco and had two children – George Alfred Dutra (1895-1994) and Eva Nellie Dutra-Alphonse (1897-1988). She divorced Joseph in 1903 and married Andrew G. Hellerman circa 1906-1909, location unknown, though they were recorded in Vallejo in 1910 Census. Andrew died in 1913. In 1915 Eleanor married Robert J. Hill in Oakland, but they divorced circa 1919. Eleanor was recorded in 1920 Census in Oakland, in the 1930 Census in San Francisco, and in the 1940 Census in Berkeley. She was 66 when she died. Obituary in Oakland Tribune newspaper stated interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
