Russell and Therma (Johnson) Turner were united in marriage on December 30, 1944 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and to this union 2 children were born.
Russell was preceded by his parents; wife, Therma Turner; 1 grandson Brandon Turner; a sister Reba Herrell; and a son-in-law Darrell Jones.
Russell is survived by a daughter, Ruby Jones of Theodosia, MO; a son Denzill Turner and wife Debbie of Theodosia; one sister, Louise Chandler of Squires, MO; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and many neices and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Russell will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial in the Thornfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday April 27th from 6-7 in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Hodges. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice of charity.
