Penelope Yanez Thomas was born August 9, 1968 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Manuel and America Yanez. She passed from this life on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Tulsa at the age of 47 years, 8 months and 12 days.
Penny was a counter clerk at Denver Cleaners. She enjoyed going to concerts, spending time with her family and friends and playing with her granddaughter. She was of the Catholic faith.
Her survivors include her parents, Manuel and America Yanez of Rotan, TX; daughter, Stefanie Thomas of Tulsa; sons, Shawn and Shane Thomas of Tulsa; brother, Felix Yanez of Rotan, TX; granddaughter, Alayna Marie Thomas of Tulsa; and niece, Chloe Yanez of Rotan, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Thomas.
A funeral service for Penny is scheduled for 11 am, Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Heath-Griffith Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
