FIELDS, Jody Ann Lawson, 43, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 8, 2002. She was born July 7, 1958 in Roanoke, daughter of Virginia Lawson of Roanoke and the late James Carl Lawson. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jasmine Huffman and two nephews, Robbie Lawson Arbogast and Jonathan Lawson. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Fields; a son, David Lee Huffman, II and his wife, Misti; three daughters, Dana Huffman and her fianc, Joshua Bachelder, Carolyn Huffman and her fianc, Michael Flick, Tasha Huffman and her fianc, Joey Petry; and the children's father, David Lee Huffman, I; two sisters, Wanda Lawson and her fianc, Mac Via, Darlene Tipton and her husband, Willie Tipton; three brothers, Billy Lawson, Timmy Lawson and his wife, Jeannie, Ricky Lawson; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with interment to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
