Emily Margaret Went Nichols, 72, of Roselle, NJ, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway, NJ.

Emily was born in Newark, NJ, and lived in Roselle and Linden for the past 52 years. She was employed by First Investors Corporation, Edison, NJ, for the past seven years. Prior to that she was employed by IHOP Corporation as an administrative assistant for many years. Before that she was the owner of Emily Ceramics in Linden for 10 years. Emily loved crocheting.
She was predeceased by her father, Andrew Went. Surviving are her beloved husband of 53 years, Gerald Nichols. She is also survived by her loving children, Gerald Nichols and Maryann Khase; her dear mother, Stella Went; her loving brothers, Edward and John Went; six cherished grandchildren, Sean and Claudia Nichols, Andrew, Rebecca, Nicholas, and Phillip Khase.
