Debra J. Glass, 59, of Rome City died Monday, April 25, 2016, in Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla.

She had lived in this area since 1969, coming from Wabash.

She was a member of Rome City American Legion Post 381 Auxiliary where she served as past secretary.

Deb was the best friend; she never knew a stranger. She loved living on Sylvan Lake, boating, working in the yard, and being outdoors.

She was born October 14, 1956, in Wabash to J. Philip and Mary Jo (Alexander) Devine. They survive in Rome City.

On September 3, 1988, in Rome City she married RobRoy Glass, I. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2015.

Also surviving are two brothers, Alex Devine of Wolcottville and Timothy (Cindy) Devine of Howe; two nieces, Nicole and Tiffany; a nephew, Dustin; and her beloved dog, Wiffy Jane.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 3 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.

Calling is Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Noble Hospice or Presence Sacred Heart Home.
