Flora (Holliman) Johnston Pierce, age 95, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at the Golden Living Center in Heber Springs. Born in Quitman on September 3, 1911, she was the daughter of the late John and Ellen (Finley) Holliman.
Mrs. Pierce was a lifetime resident of Quitman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Goodloe Community Church. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Herbert Johnston and Edward Pierce; one son, Loyd Johnston; and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Johnston; her brother-in-law, D. L. Johnston; and her sister-in-law, Zoe Holliman, all of Quitman; and her nephews. Mrs. Pierce is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
