Cora Geraldine “Sis” Ross, 90, of Accoville, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born February 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Walter Smith and Virginia Ruth Zornes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Ross; four sons: Eddie Ross, Ronald Smith, Gary Ross, and William Lawrence Ross; one brother Bill Smith, and one sister, Marjorie Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons: Ricky (Darlene) Ross, Darrell (Crystal) Ross, and William E. Ross and his fiancé Patty; three daughters: Nancy Nagy, Cheryl Castillo, and Suzy (Fred) Cox; 29 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the West Logan Church of God in West Logan with Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby. Cora will be carried to rest by her family and friends. Friends may call at the church between 11-1 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014.
