Pauline E. “Polly” Long died April 24, 2016, at her home in Edgerton. She was born in Oblong, IL, on February 8, 1934, the daughter of Loren and Vera (Schafer) Milam and had been an Edgerton area resident for the past 66 years. Polly married Harold Long Sr. on Dec. 17, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2013. She and Harold farmed in Fulton Township until retiring in 1989. She was a member of Edgerton United Methodist Church. Polly enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together, coloring, and watching the birds. Apfel-Ehlert Funeral Home.
