Patrick L. Carr, Sgt. United States Marine Corps. July 20, 1975 to April 19, 2016.
The world lost the most caring, giving and generous soul on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
Patrick was a friend to everyone and anyone. He was always the first person to volunteer a helping hand, lend a caring ear and offer assistance to those in need.
He served proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2000 and was an extremely proud Marine father as well.
Patrick was a well-respected soccer referee and his lone vice was his love of Cherry Coke. He enjoyed baking cakes for his family and close friends.
Patrick is survived by his wife, best friend, and soulmate of 23 years, Michelle Carr, and three sons who he held most dear to his heart, LCPL Patrick Addam USMC, Benjamin Lee, and Joshua Michael. Patrick is also survived by his mother, Helen Wright; brother, Gary (Jackie) Carr; big sister, Margaret (Joseph) Lepard; his grandparents, Stephen and Gerry Levorchick; nieces, Tiffany Carr, Corrie (Christopher) Wyland, Emily Lepard, Kasey Carr, Natalie McNally, Gia Fiorillo, and nephews, Adam Carr, Aaron Putman and Cooper McNally. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Gary D. Carr, Sr. and mother-in-law, Shawn Roberts.
Patrick also leaves behind his second best friend and beloved lap dog, his chocolate lab, Rocky.
The family would also like to express their gratitude and love for all of the support during this time of need to the families of Craig and Erica Zura, John and Stephanie Zientek, Quentin Kreamer, Greg Kreamer and also to the many friends of Patrick Addam, Benjamin Lee and Joshua Michael Carr.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Patrick's employer, The Home Depot Distribution Center, for their kindness and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a gathering proceeding.
