Son of Thomas W. and Joan Ann 'Annie' Reed Campbell. Former husband of Ava Norris of Shannon Co MO. Father of Anna Lee, Thomas Lewis and Lois Oneda Campbell. Youngest brother of Robert Lewis 'Bob', Walter Cleveland 'Cleve', George Edward, Jesse E., Clarence R. and Frank Campbell.

L. A. CAMPBELL, 47, DIES AT MORTONS
Lee A. Campbell, 47, died in his home near Mortons Gap at 12:10 a.m. today of a kidney ailment following three weeks of illness. Mr. Campbell was born at White Plains and had lived in Hopkins County all his life. He had been an employee of Hart-Ross Coal Company for the past two years. In addition to the widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna Lee Lege and Miss Lois Campbell, both of Missouri, and one son, Thomas L. Campbell, stationed with the navy at Charleston, S. C; a stepdaughter, mrs. Frances Kumpf, Clearfield, Pa., and four brothers, Cleav Campbell, E. Alton, Ill; Robert Campbell, White City; Frank Campbell, Richland; and Clarence Campbell, Madisonville. The remains were taken today from Reid Funeral home, Earlington, to the home near Mortons Gap. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Concord church, White Plains, with Rev. Archie B----- officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
