KAREN WILSON Karen Denise Wilson, 45, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

She was born on Oct. 14, 1970, in Pasadena, Texas, to Cebert "Butch" and Paula Wilson. Karen grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Eldorado High School, in 1989.

After high school, she began a career in the construction industry.

Karen was a kid at heart and Auntie to many, especially to Sydney, Mackenzie and Richard. Karen is survived by her wife, Jackie of Henderson; brother, James (Liz) Wilson of Henderson; mother, Paula (Rick) Langston of Pahrump; father, Cebert (Sharon) Wilson of Tennessee; stepsisters, Jenny (Kevin) Langston and Kim Langston; stepbrothers, Mike (Nanette) Langston and Rick Langston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members who all loved her greatly.

A celebration of Karen's life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie St., Las Vegas.

There will be a reception and refreshments following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741.
