Services for Golda Belew, 83, of Carrollton are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Earth United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Nunn and Rev. Kay Reed officiating.

Burial will be in Earth Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Belew died September 13, 1993 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, TX.

She was born September 27, 1909 in Paradise, TX and married Hershel Belew on January 26, 1929 in Silverton, TX. He died Dec. 11, 1984.

Mrs. Belew had lived in Carrollton 1 1/2 years, moving there from Earth where she had lived since 1954. She had previously lived in New Home, TX. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Earth United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Beth Phifer of Carrollton, TX; one sister, Opal Baker of San Jose, CA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
