He was my 2nd Great Grandfather and as I write this and reflect on everything I read, my Grandfather endured much loss in his life time but made a Huge impact on many lives. The one description of him in the many writings I read stands out the most. "Iona Lainchbury" his Granddaughter writes "He was a Grand,Gentle man:we liked visiting with him and Loved him. He made me feel so welcome"
