Lillie Mae Ledford Sells, 91, of Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at NHC HealthCare in Johnson City.
Lillie was a native of Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Neville and Cora Pate Ledford.
She was a lifelong member of the Johnson City Baptist Temple.
Lillie worked as a cafeteria manager at Boones Creek School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle A. Sells; two sons, Bobby Lee Sells and Rickie Lynn Sells; three brothers, Neville, Jimmy, and Roger Ledford; and two sisters, Dorothy Draper and Hazel Brummitt.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lynn Stover and her husband Donald; seven grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; one sister, Emily Miller; devoted nephew, Gary Draper and his wife Marcia; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of NHC HealthCare and Caris Hospice in Johnson City for their care and support.
The family of Lillie Mae Ledford Sells will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to Monte Vista Memorial Park for a 3 pm graveside service. Pastor Mike Richards will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
