He was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 9, 1909.
He was married to Dorothea for 67 years before her death in 1994.
Joseph loved bowling, the casinos and playing poker with friends. He also loved to travel.
Joseph is survived by his daughter Diane Ciulla and his son Roger Aiello; grandchildren Deborah Jones, Michael Ciulla, Lisa Griffiths; great-grandchildren Dustin Jones, Michelle Mason, Alec Ciulla, Madison and Corbin Griffiths; and great-great-grandchild Sonya Mason.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Friday, July 11th in the Fellowship Center at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman (corner of Wakefield). Rosary follows at 7:30 pm in the Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 12th, also at St. Rose of Lima, followed by interment at Forest Park Cemetery on Westheimer.
