She married the late Frank L. Cobb and of that union one daughter was born, Deborah Medas and one son, Brion M. Cobb. After retiring, she and her husband moved from New York City to Virginia Beach in 1988.
Roberta always enjoyed life and had a very active schedule. She enjoyed church and other activities, including traveling with her friends whom she affectionately called "The Golden Girls."
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Deborah Medas; one son, Brion M. Cobb both of New York City; one daughter-in-law, DeAnn Cobb; four grandchildren, Brianna, DuShawn, Daniel and Brian; six great-grandchildren, Jasia, Niyah, Jibri, Keyonna, Nevaeh and Jackson; one brother, Arthur Gladden; two sisters-in-law, Delores Walker and Carol Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
