Michael “Mike“ Schwarz, Jr. was born March 22, 1929 to Michael and Caroline Maschino Schwarz in Okarche, OK.
Mike graduated from Holy Trinity High School and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He later moved to Hennessey, OK. He owned and operated Hennessey Ready Mix that he opened in 1955, for fifty years until he retired in 2005. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the VFW.
He married Catherine “Cathy” Thompson in Oklahoma City February 2, 1956.
A resident of Stillwater, OK., he died at the age of 87, April 22, 2016 at his home.
He was survived by his wife Cathy; five children, Audrey Schwarz, Elizabeth Young and husband Guy, Michael Schwarz and wife Stephanie, Steven Schwarz and wife Donna, and Teresa Schwarz; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; six sisters; one daughter, Susan Schwarz Shaw and one grandson, Dillon Clay Schwarz.
Wake services were April 24, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was April 25, 2016 at St. Joseph's with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
