Funeral services for Kelton Smallwood, 65, of Gray who died Friday, September 26, were held September 29 in Haddock Methodist Church with burial in the Fortville Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Ronald McCollum officated.

Mr. Smallwood was a native of Wilkinson County but had lived in Jones County most of his life. He was a retired Methodist [sic] and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie Miller Smallwood of Gray; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Woody of San Pedro, Calif.; a son, Carter Smallwood of Gray; three sisters, Mrs. Electra Matthews of Atlanta, Mrs. Leana [sic] Loague [sic] (Lena
Logue) of Milledgeville and Mrs. Zella Mae Callaway of Monticello; and a brother, J. W. Smallwood of Interlachen, Fla.

Hart's Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
