Rosary for August Edward Hartmann, 62, of 634 Collingswood will be recited today at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated tomorrow at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles P. Doherty as celebrant. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
Hartmann died yesterday while out fishing on his boat. A resident here 18 years, he moved here from San Antonio where he had lived 25 years. He was a veteran of World War I and had an accounting office at 4228 Ayers. He was a member of Veterans of World War I Barracks 1070.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Tella Hartmann; one daughter, Mrs. Roger P. Roy of Corpus Christi; one step-daughter, Mrs. Phyllis K. Hardwick of Fort Worth; one step-son, Louis G. Moore of the Air Force; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Kunz of San Antonio, Mrs. Sophie Hennegans of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Arthur Tatch of Fredericksburg, and three brothers, Felix of Fredericksburg, and Joseph and Alvin, both of San Antonio.
