Gloria Irene Voss, 91, of Burlington, died at 7:04 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016, at her home in Burlington.
Born April 12, 1925, in Laurel Springs, NC, she was the daughter of Carl Joseph and Dessie Raye Bare. On January 31, 1943, she married Burdette Arthur "Burt" Voss in Missouri. He died August 8, 2014
Gloria was a homemaker.
She enjoyed spending her time sewing, crocheting, but most of all, spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three daughters, Diane Wolfe of Olathe, KS; Barbara Voss of Lake Mills, WI; and Carole Voss of Burlington; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jackie Atwood of North Carolina; and one brother, Richard bare of North Carolina.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two grandchildren, Robin Lynn Wolfe and Peter Michael Wolfe.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
There will be a private committal in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
