Donna Cochran (nee Herring), age 56, from Galveston, TX, passed away on April 16, 2016 in Lorain, OH.

Donna was born in National City, CA on September 16, 1959. She had worked as a pharmacy tech and salesperson for a number of years. Donna enjoyed the beach, tending to her pond and plants, attending car shows, thrift shopping, spoiling her grandchildren, and laughing with friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Lee and Mae Bell Herring, sister Doris Herring, of Galveston TX, and step-brothers Jerry Herring of TX and Bobby Herring of CA.

Donna Cochran is survived by her husband Douglas Cochran of Lorain OH, her daughter Misty Aschenbach (Kristophor), her step-daughters Sarah and Whitney Cochran, her brother Rusty Herring of Galveston TX, her grandchildren Hannah and R.J. Aschenbach, Bella Nemecek and Hayden Wadsworth, as well as her dear life-long friend Pauline Dewitt.

Donna chose to donate herself to medical research with the Cleveland Clinic, in Ohio, to serve a greater purpose for medical advancement. Therefore, there will not be a funeral service.

A celebration of life memorial is pending. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to one of Donna’s passions would be appreciated. Those included the ASPCA, ACS, and AHA.
