Jun. 24, 1929 - Apr. 22, 2016 Leona Mozelle Bryant, 86, of Saraland, passed away in her home after complications from a stroke.
After 23 years, Mrs. Bryant retired from K-Mart where she received a number of awards and accolades. Prior to working at K-Mart, she had worked at both "Sully's Drive Inn" and "The Frosty Inn". Until her health no longer permitted it, she enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her roses. She took great pleasure in preparing a big meal and having her entire family gather around the dinner table.
She is survived by two sisters Geneva Norris and Stella Hunt both of Faquier County Virginia. She raised seven children: Johnnie Bryant (Darla) Janice Hudson, Kevin Bryant (Becky), Kathy Howle, Joseph Bryant (Tambra) Anita Railey (Ronnie) and Charles Bryant (Lynne). She had 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and had just found out that number 16 was on the way. She had a special relationship with her second cousin Miracle Anne Carter.
Visitation will be at LaFitte Baptist Church in Saraland on Sunday, April 24th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at LaFitte Baptist Church on Monday, April 25th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Creola Cemetery
