Max Grim, 1905 Miner street, died at the Muskegon County Convalescent Hospital today after an illness of one year. He was 78 years old. Born in Germany Sept. 5, 1874, Mr. Grim came to the United states as a boy, settling in Muskegon where he had made his home for the past 70 years. He had been employed by the Lakeside Lumber Company until his retirement in 1949. He was a memeber of Our Redeemer Lutheran church. He leaves two sons, Fred of Muskegon and Arthur of Spring Lake; one daughter and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Omness and Mrs. Herman Wiese of Muskegon and Mrs. Bertha Pollak of Chicago.
