Tommie Vernon “Tom” Bowles, 59, of Great Falls, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 16, 2016. A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Living Hope Church in Livingston. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery in Livingston.

Tom was born July 22, 1956 in Livingston to Dorothy Raver and Edward Bowles. He received his education in Livingston, where he was raised by his father.

As a child Tom enjoyed playing baseball. He worked various jobs in Livingston and Great Falls. Tom had 3 beautiful children with his former wife Sonya. Eventually Tom moved to Great Falls, where he met his current wife Heather. While in Great Falls, he worked for Service Master and Days Inn for many years, until illness forced him to retire.

Tom was very kind hearted, and would do anything he could to help out those in need. During every phone conversation he made sure to tell you how much he loved you, and how proud he was of you. He was loved by many and took on the role of being a mentor to all children he encountered. We will all miss hearing his yogi bear voice saying, “Are you my little boo boo?”

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Edward Bowles; sister, Sherrie Parsons; brother, Steven Vale; and his best friend Doug Beatty.
