Uneta Marie Ogden, 89, Roann, died at 2:10 p.m. Friday, June 4, 1993, at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 6, 1903, in Wabash County, to Lew Marshall and Frances Ann Siberts.
Mrs. Ogden first married John H. Yarian on April 2, 1921, and he died on March 22, 1963. She then married
Elwood Ogden, April 6, 1966, an he died on Sept. 18, 1984.
She attended the Roann First Brethren Church and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society of the
Church. She was also a member of the Pleasant Township Home Economic Club and the Stitch Chatter Club.
Surviving are three daughters, Maxine Dyson, Roann, Betty Shireman, Akron, and Rosella Dyson, Wabash; three step-daughters, Jeannette Johnson, Bringhurst, Marguerite Rocky, Peru, and Mary Jane Baker, Roann; two step-sons, Maurice Ogden, Roann, and Joe Ogden, Bluffton; one brother, Orlo Marshall, Laketon; one sister, Irene Hively, Roann; 24 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren, and 30 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will take place Monday, June 7, 1993, at 10:30 a.m. at the Roann First Brethren Church, with the Rev. Phil Medsger officiating.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home in Roann.
Burial will take place on Monday at the Roann Community Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wabash County Cancer Society.
