Barbara Lou Applegate, 65, Frankfort, died at 4:15 p.m. February 29, 2000 at Clinton County Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born April 22, 1934, in Frankfort, to Theodore F. and Dorothy L. Wilson Cole. She married Wayne P. Brandenburg, and they divorced. She married John F. Applegate on June 20, 1956, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Brandenburg of San Antonio and Frederick Applegate of Frankfort; two daughters, Kimberly Randle and Dorothy L. Barrios, both of Frankfort; one sister, Judy Ferguson of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Five sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
