Hannah Hazel Gilley, 20, of Union Hill Road, Piketon, Ohio, died Friday April 22, 2016 at her home.
She was born February 28, 1996 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Raymond Gilley of Lucasville, Ohio and Andrea Dawn Shoemaker Carver of Peebles, Ohio.
preceded her in death her grandparent, the late Sandy Shoemaker of Otway.
Hannah was joined in death by her fiancé, Frankie Rhoden.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, with Pastor Shawn Spencer officiating.
Burial will follow in Hackworth Hill Cemetery, Otway. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Gilley, 20, attended high school in McDermott, Ohio, where she participated in 4-H and was on the homecoming court. During an interview for the court, she said her favorite hobbies were riding four-wheelers, going “mudding,” and hanging out with friends.
At that time, Gilley said she planned to go to college, obtain a business degree and open a daycare.
She was buried Saturday at Hackworth Hill Cemetery in Otway, Ohio
