Willard Rose, 77 of Freetown, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at his home in Freetown.

He was born April 4, 1939, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the son of the late Courtney and Nora (King) Rose.

He married Della Fee who preceded him. He married Wanda S. Mitchell in 1979, and she preceded him on August 13, 2006.

Willard could fix anything. He was a "jack of all trades" who loved working on cars and tinkering with anything that needed to be fixed.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Richart, Carol (Tim) Neal, David Rose, Katherine (Lanny) Smith, Rachel (Doug) South, and Charlotte Davidson; nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews..

He was preceded in death by his parents, both his wives and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Voss Chapel. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Saturday after 12 Noon until time of service.

Memorial checks may be written to Willard's dog, Sparky's Caretaker Fund.
