CECIL A. WALKER, JR.
Fayetteville, WV- It is with sadness that we the family of Cecil A. Walker, Jr. formerly of Ameagle, passed away March 3, 2015 at Harper Mills in Beckley.
Cecil was born October 18, 1932, he was one of three children of the late Cecil A. and Helen Walker.
In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his late wife, Marietta; a brother, a sister, and baby daughter.
Cecil was a Retired US Air Force Veteran having served his country 23 years both overseas and in the states. He graduated from Clear Fork High School and Montgomery Tech where he received his Bachelors Degree.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 39 years, Joan Walker; sons, Wayne Walker and wife, Brenda and Mark Walker; daughters, Jo Ellen Harp, Nona Walker and Mary Deering; step-sons, Danny Donnelly and wife, Pam and Michael Donnelly and companion, Laurie; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Cecil A. Walker, Jr will be held 11:00AM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Minister Jim Sturgill officiating. Following the services Cecil will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may gather with the family from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Friday at the funeral home.

Cecil was the son of Cecil Arvil and Phyllis Helen Warton Walker, Senior. He married Joan Marie Holcomb Donnelly on the 9th day of April 1976 in Pearisburg, Giles County, Virginia.
