He was born in Cambridge, Vt. on July 19th 1936, the son of the late James and Marion (McLaren) Griffin.
Earl was an avid Hunter and Fisherman; he loved anything outdoors including sugaring, riding around the on the back roads, shooting his guns, and watching the wildlife.
He especially loved looking out the window and watching the birds and the squirrels.
He worked for many years at Lafayette Inc. in Essex Junction, Vt. and he installed chain link fencing for Sears, Roebuck & Co.
He was predeceased by his parents; his father James Griffin in 1976 and his mother Marian Griffin in 1999, his wife; Hilda Margaret (Bergeron) Griffin on November 18th 2013, and one sister; Mona Johnson.
