Randall "Randy" Wright

U.S. Veteran, Randall “Randy” Wright, 80, of Lachine, died Friday afternoon, April 15, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born February 6, 1936, in Covington, KY he was the son of the late Mamie Wright, of Houston, Texas.
Randy, retired from the General Motors Tech Center after many years of work. He was a man of many passions and talents. He truly loved his home at Beaver Lake and his rather large family. He was a dedicated member of the Loyal Order of Moose serving the Alpena Moose Lodge as the Administrator for several years. Served in the US Army, in Korea, decorated and received an Honorable discharge. Also served the Masons – Shriners and frequently escorted children to the Shriners Hospital in Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol far too soon 20 years ago and 10 of his 11 brothers & sisters. He is survived by children, Michael & his wife Vicki, from San Diego, Tony & his wife Marianne, from Sterling Heights and Tammy & her fiancé Scott, from Clawson. There are 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one sister, Christine from Houston, Texas. Also, survived by Randy is his life partner, Michelle and her two children Christian, Mariah and her fiancé Chris. There are far too many loving nieces, nephews and relatives from around the country to list.
Randy’s choice was to be cremated. A Memorial Service for Randy will be held from 2pm – 5pm, Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Polish Century Club located at 2975 E. Maple Rd, Troy, MI 48083.
