Mrs. Reed was born April 19, 1931 in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late William and Rosella May (Michael) Fisher.
Doris worked as a technical writer for Motorola for 25 years and was a member of the Bethel United Presbyterian Church. She was also an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Reed, Jr., whom she married June 11, 1967; daughters, Constance Lessard of Lisbon and Donna Frischkorn of Irondale; son, Kenneth (Beth) Reed, III of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Shirley (Harold) Issel and Rose (Buzz) Hirsch, both of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Stuart (Carri) Hudson, Adam (Rebecca) Frischkorn and Jordan (Clifford) McElroy; 11 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Doris was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Benoy, June Stromquist, Margaret George, her twin sister, Dorritt Lessard, and Grace Fisher; brothers, William and Patrick Fisher; and granddaughters, Heather and April Hudson.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date at the Living Well Church in Wellsville. No calling hours will be observed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
